First Time to Observe | SMP 4 Pakem

I went to school at 6.30 a.m. The school starts activity at this time, it's very early because Indonesian usually prays around 4-5 a.m. then they also start their activity too early. That's different from Thailand school, which starts at 8 a.m.

There are four Thai students who observe and teaching at SMP 4 Pakem.

It consists of Nam (Biology), To (Mathematics), Oat and I (English).

In the morning,there are the flag ceremony, religion activity and meeting with the principle. After that all of us introduced ourselves to teachers and students. I said greetings them and introduced myself in Bahasa Indonesia.

Yes, I can speak a little bit.

I said " Salamat Pagi, nama saya Ken. (Good morning, my name is Ken.)

Saya dari Thailand. (I am from Thailand.)

Saya kuliah di Chiangmai Rajabhat University. (I study at CMRU.)

Saya jurusan bahasa inggris. (My major is English.)

Senang bertemu dengan anda. (Nice to meet you)

Terima kasih (Thank you)"

The students and teachers look excited and happy to see us. Later, I got the schedule of the class, so this week I observe in second grade in junior school, or grade eight. Teacher.Dwi teach in this class and she will take care of me and give the advice for me.

At 9.20, I observed in the third grade, the students are very smart and friendly. I met Yoga who is a secretary in the class. He is a very smart student and good in English. He asked me about Thai movie and music.

He likes Thai movie, such as ATM Er-Rak-Er-Ror, Seasons change and he loves Thai music too. He wanted to know about the meanings of the song,

"Pleng Tee Chan Mai Dai Taeng", and I described it to him. We also talked about Merapi volcano, because I'm very interested in the volcano. I've never seen the volcano before. He suggested me to travel in Bali and many beaches in Bali because he went there with his family by car and it took one day from Jogyakarta to Bali. It took very long time. right? Maybe just once,

I will go there.
