On Tuesday in Classroom | SMP 4 Pakem

Today is the 24th of January. It's my second day in the school. At 7.15 a.m,

I observed in class D second grade in junior school, or grade 8 with

Teacher. Dwi. They also had an exam about the comparison.

After that, I talked with Funny, Rana, Delfa, and Nia. They are very kind and happy students. Funny wants to be a lecturer at the university, Rana wants to be a business woman, Delfa dreams to be a doctor, and Nia dreams to be a secretary. They are also good in English, and then we talked about Indonesia Raya, Indonesian national song. They described about the meanings of this song to me.

They also told me that the school in Indonesia raises the flag on Monday, and they do the ceremony flag at 6.30, the flag is taken down on Friday.

At 10.15 to 11.35, I observed in class E. They learned about describing people.

First of all, the teacher talked with students about what is your favorite cartoon? or who is your favorite actor/actress? to warm up and prepared the students approaching to the lesson.

A student answered teacher " I like Doraemon."

Can you describe Doraemon to your friends? the teacher said.

He is a future robot. He helps Nobita. the student answered.

The teacher said that today we'll learn about describing people.

Then, the teacher played the sound with two people talking to describe people, so the student should listen carefully and wrote down on a worksheet. Later, they also worked their worksheet.

The teacher also had the teaching material consists of projector, conversation sound and a worksheet.

The school finishes at 1.15 p.m. everyday. The students also study on Monday to Saturday.

It was raining at this moment when I went to my dorm. In Yogyakarta, it frequently rains, especially my dorm because it is located near Merapi volcano.
